KIDS STRONG FITNESS PROGRAM
Kids Strong is a strength based fitness program that will help kids build the foundations for movement.
Classes will be led by Julia Simone, and will run for 9 weeks starting Sunday, October 6th.
Our aim is to help children build the technique and mindset to prevent injury, move well, and enhance overall life and performance.
Each class will be 50 minutes in length, located at Fuel Roncesvalles (1974 Dundas St. W in Toronto) and will contain the following outline:

10 min Warm up with Mobility & Stability

10-15 min Strength Movements & Skill Development

25-30 minutes Conditioning Games
Topics we will be engaging in throughout the 9 weeks:

Speed & Agility

Body weight & weighted strength

Proper movement techniques and form for sports and every day moving

How to listen to the body

How to manage anxiety through movement and breath

Focus

Animal Movements

Teamwork
Dates:
Each Sunday from October 6th - December 1st.
Times:
Each class will run at 2pm on Sundays.
If there is demand, we will run two classes. The first class will be for ages 6-8 at 1pm. The second class will be ages 9-12 at 2pm. This will be confirmed with all participants by the end of September.
Cost for the full 9-week program:
$250 + tax

+ Classes are limited to 10 participants to ensure a personalized approach to group training.
+ Parents are welcome to watch the last 10 minutes of the workout, but will not be allowed to stay due to space limitations
+ Must be at least 5 1/2 years old (entering grade 1) to participate
